ODBC MANAGER WINDOWS 8.1 SOFTWARE LICENSE
One of its subsidiaries ("SAS") under a separate software license agreement ("Software License Agreement"). You are downloading software code ("Code") which will become part of a software product ("Software") that is currently licensed from SAS Institute Inc. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOTĪCCEPT THIS AGREEMENT OR ATTEMPT TO DOWNLOAD THE CODE. REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE FULL AUTHORITY TO BIND CUSTOMER TO THIS AGREEMENT. BY ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT AND/OR USING THE CODE, AS DEFINEDīELOW, YOU, ON BEHALF OF CUSTOMER, AS DEFINED BELOW, ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS AND SAS, AS DEFINED BELOW, WILL AUTHORIZE YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE CODE.
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT"). Contact your SAS representative or see the SAS web site for more information about the SAS SPD Server product. The SAS SPD Server product is multi-threaded server software which takes advantage of Symmetric Multiprocessor hardware to speed up access to SAS data. SAS data sets and SPDS data sets are interchangeable via use of the LIBNAME statement engine option in either SAS or SPDS.

The SAS Drivers for ODBC also enables access to SAS Scalable Performance Data Server.
A remote server requires that Base SAS software, plus the licenses for SAS/SHARE and SAS/SHARE*NET products, are installed. Accessing local SAS data requires Base SAS software to be installed on the client machines. It is not required that the SAS system be installed on the client machine in order to access remote SAS data (SAS/SHARE server) via SAS Drivers for ODBC. SAS Drivers for ODBC uses the TCP/IP protocol to access your data on a local or remote data server on a variety of host platforms.
